What file formats do you accept?
DXF and STEP are preferred. DWG and PDF are fine. If your drawing is in another format, or only on paper, send it anyway and our CAD team will convert it.
How fast will I get a quote?
Send your files, material, thickness and quantity through the quote form and we respond promptly, usually the same business day. Complete information means a faster price.
What is the typical lead time on a job?
It depends on the size of the run and what is on the floor, and your quote will include a real lead time for your job. Simple cut-only work in stocked material is usually days, not weeks. Tell us your needed-by date and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
What is the maximum thickness you can cut?
Mild steel to 20mm, stainless steel to 16mm, aluminium to 16mm. See the full table on the laser cutting page.
Do you supply the material, or do I?
Either. Most customers have us supply, and our quotes include material sourced at trade rates with software nesting to reduce waste. If you have your own sheet, we can cut from it.
Can you fold and finish, or just cut?
Both, under the same roof. CNC press brake folding to 3.0m, TIG and MIG welding, hardware, deburring and finishing prep. Parts can leave here install-ready.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One bracket is a real job. Small parts may be more economical in small batches, and your quote will show the price break so you can decide.
Do you work with individuals, or only businesses?
Both. Trades, manufacturers and product companies make up most of our work, but a one-off personal project with a clean drawing is welcome.
Pickup or delivery?
Pickup from 72 Balfour Avenue, Sunshine North, or we can arrange delivery across Melbourne. Delivery is quoted with the job so there are no surprises.
How does payment work?
Quotes are valid as written and we invoice on completion. Account terms are available for repeat business customers. Ask when you get your quote.
